OMG should I invest in stocks from WIND Mobile in Canada?

The WIND Mobile service you are talking about is run by Globalive, which in turn is majority-owned by Orascom Telecom Holding of Egypt. You cannot buy WIND or Globalive stock on a public exchange, as far as I know; Globalive is a privately-held company.

So I'm not sure what stock you are thinking about buying, unless it's Orascom. Assuming you don't want to buy stocks from the Cairo/Alexandria exchange, the other possibility would be the Orascom GDRs traded on the London Stock Exchange. But if you buy Orascom GDRs, you would of course be investing in a broader array of businesses than just the WIND Mobile service -- they run services from North Korea to Pakistan to Europe and, of course, Canada.
