BlackBerry OS 6 is a new operating system from BlackBerry. You will get BlackBerry OS 6 on the BlackBerry Torch, Pearl 3G and Curve 9300 (right now only the torch but soon for the pearl 3g and curve 9300) All other blackberrys, like the curve 8520, pearl flip, storm will not get the BlackBerry OS 6 update and will have to stay on BlackBerry OS 5

BlackBerry 6 is the new operating system from blackberry...basically just a revamp of the software...better icons, better navigation, and improved menu systems! They have also overhauled the media side of things, better music player, better video handling...all in aall it just makes BlackBerry easier to use! They have also improved the desktop software so you can backup your entire devise automatically (everything from contacts and text messaging, to ur choices of ringtones and fonts), you can also sync your music and photo's from either windows or itunes in exactly the same way an ipod/iphone does!
