Windows LIVE Movie Maker. Help?

I liked the old version sooo much better, but I got Windows 7 now, and it came with Windows Live Movie Maker, I HATE IT!

How can I move audio to match the video??

It never really lets me move the audio alone, and I want to be able to record some bass covers, but put the music track in afterwards cause then the audio quality is a lot better than recording the bass WITH the song playing.
