i have the iphone 4 4.1 (8B117)
i first downloaded the firmware - http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
then downloaded pwnage - http://www.iphoneworld.ca/news/2010/10/20/download-pwnage-tool-4-1-for-mac-os-x-iphone-ios-4-1-unlock/
i went on to expert mode on pwnage tool, clicked iphone 4, set all my settings, built the new firmware. then, when told to by pwnage, i held off button + home for 10 seconds then released off and held home for another 10. it said it was succesful, and i was in D something mode. then i went to itunes, clicked options and clicked restore and clicked the custom new file pwnage made, restored it with that. After it finished, it wouldnt work! i thought i did everything right. so, i just held off and home for 10 seconds then released off, then held home and now my iphone is on again, but back to normal.
what did i do wrong?!
