I have a 2004 YZ250 that is leaking fork fluid. I want to go riding this week and really don't want to have the work done right now. Will the forks start acting funny in any sort of way when they run out or are low on fork fluid? Right now I jump on the front forks as hard as I can and can only compress them about 3 inches, I only weigh 150 pounds though.
Is there a way to tell when they are running low or out of fork fluid?
Or when you NEED to replace the fork seals right away?
Can I ride my dirt bike like this?
Also I have NO idea how long it has been leaking, could be anywhere from two months to two years.
