Should I pay someone to take me out to a bar to meet a woman?

I think I am a relatively normal person. I am not shy or anxious about women, but for some reason I am too hesitant to go to a bar. I've never ever been to that kind of place before. But I really want to so I can chill, drinks some alcohol and have a relaxed talk with a woman. I often say to myself, I'll go to a bar this weekend, but then change my mind. I feel like I physically can't do it. The only way I think I can go there is if someone takes me there but I have no friends.
A lot of people will probably argue that I gotta find friends but I am totally fine without friends. I like it this way. I just want 1 person close to me. Even when I was with my ex, I rarely socialized with her friends and she didn't care. The reason we broke up wasn't because of that but because of our age difference (16 years). I think it's totally possible to find a GF without having friends.
