How do I stop my dog whining in the morning?

When I first had him he whined and howled all night for 2 months
he has got better he does quieten down now but he whines at 6 o clock for his breakfast
I have moved him into a room he's comfortable in
is there anything else I can do?

    Thanks
I had him for 11 months

I take him out before his bedtime

I feed him a big dinner
So don't go on saying You have no business with a dog
Yes Im talking to you rumor

get up and take the dog outside and feed him.

when he cries he is trying to tell you something....listen.

He may still be adjusting. Some dogs only take days to adjust while others can take many months. If he keeps whining and wakes you up just tell him to shush and wait then as soon as you get up, feed him his breakfast to reassure him that you will feed him that morning. Don't fuss or get angry at him or it'll just make him whine more.

Just let him whine It gets heck of annoying but all you have to do is ignore him. DO NOT go to him while he is whining it shows that the longer he whines you will come. When he stops whining take him out and praise him or give him a treat. He'll get used to it and will start thinking that if he keeps whining you won't come. It take awhile and lots of patience but he will get the idea and stop. Also Before you go to bed feed him and take him out to the restroom so he won't wake up so early hungry. The more they mature they can wait longer for food and bathroom.

Did you realize when you got a dog that you were agreeing to getting out of bed every single day between 5-6am to take the dog for a walk and feed it???? If not, you have no business with a dog - that is the beginning of the lifelong agreement when you get a dog - grow up and take the poor thing to the loo in the morning at the same time. People with dogs that sleep indoors never ever get to sleep in - ever. End of story.
