    i did not have to unplug the system.. all i had to do was.... WHILE THE SYSTEM IS ON PRESS AND HOLD THE POWER BUTTON FOR 30 SECONDS. THE SYSTEM LIGHTS ON THE UNIT SHOULD FLASH
