Not to be rude or anything, but c'mon guys. The reason teachers assign these things is because they want you to think and to use your OWN brain. If you need help with rhyming just ask google. If you don't know whadt a ballad is, there are plenty of examples already out there.

A ballad is a rhyming, narrative poem - one that tells a story. You could probably take any story and turn it into a poem to come up with a reasonable ballad. For example:

"One sunny morning, three brown bears
Sat down upon their dining chairs,
And finding they were all to hot
Went for a morning walk... er, trot.

They hadn't left the house too long
When who d'ya think should come along,
And spying the porridge lying beyond,
Stroll through the door - that's right, a blonde!"

And then go on to tell the story of Goldilocks as a "ballad"...
