Atheists: don't you wish that Christians could make their points without using biblical scripture?

It's like a security blanket or a baby pacifier. Why rely on a book that has been cut & pasted over thousands of years? Why can't they make their points directly?Each thumbs down from a fundie = a dollar I'm going to give to charity.Well, so far 2 fundies have quoted scripture in response to this question. And Fulmin8tor: YOU are everything that is LOATHSOME about Christianity. I apologize to all the reasonable Christians (and many have responded) and do realize that most of you are good people who do not need to bolster your viewpoints with biblical quotes. I do wish they could make their points with their own original thoughts. Whenever I see Bible quotes I immediately discount the response.

Yes. I highly doubt anyone even knows what the hell those mean. They used completely different grammar, they can't just meant one thing. It's likely they have no point to make, and use that to cover up this fact. Lucky for me, only one of my Christian friends does this to me, the rest are sane.
