I think that must have been a theist answer.There are people who do not believe in any supernatural deity. Those people who would be atheists, I believe.

It's like this.you believe in God: Atheists exist.If you ARE an Atheist: You and the other Atheists don't existIf you're Agnostic: They MIGHT exist, tucked away somewhere far from view, sneaking out at night and leaving no proof of ever having been here... And then again they might not.
