I bought it off gumtree. The guy said that I can unlock it by going to a 3 store. Now my friend says that it is impossible to do so. Any ideas? It is an iPhone 3G . one year old

Hai, It's possible to unlock your iPhone 3G, You can unlock it through online site called Theunlockspot.com . They are using remote unlocking method. So they ask your mobile model, imei, network and country. Then they will unlock your iPhone 3G mobile remotely. After unlock you can use any gsm sim cards.
