How to find IMEI code on Telus Blackberry Curve 8530?

Hi,
I've been told to go Options->Status to find imei code, but all I get is meid (dec) and meid (hex) how do I find the imei code. Cause I've also tried *#06#* but I'm not sure what to do after I press those numbers.

Its from Telus, I don't know if it has a sim card cause I've never seen one before and I want to unlock this phone.

Its not *#06# you have to type *06# and your IMEI number will pop out.and then to unlock your phone you can purchase unlock code by submitting your IMEI number,country and network to any vendors online like UnBBlock.com .Further by the instruction provided you can unlock your BB step by step...
