In convenience stores and wherever tobacco is sold, please note I am looking for an answer regarding the legal sale of tobacco.
I do believe that it is not legal however I tried to do some searching for the relevant Act or Regulation, but I couldn't find anything. I don't believe it is against the criminal code, but it must violate some Act.
I just know that as a minor I worked for a chain supermarket and could not work in the Customer Service Department until I was 18 as that is where the tobacco was sold.
It's not legal for anyone to sell tobacco unless they're licensed by the state/province, minor or adult. Stores can't even sell tobacco unless they apply for the permit.
