Hi. I have lots of cockatiels and there is one couple who have laid two eggs. One of the eggs is broken for some reason but there was one intact one. I have been watching the box where the eggs are and a budgie has taken over their box! And the poor egg was just sitting in the corner of the box and the parents have not gone near it. I decided to take it out (Yes i washed my hands, i did not shake it, i was very gentle) and it just has liquid in it!! I read on the net to shine a bright light on the egg to look for veins but there is nothing, just liquid! Does this mean the egg is infertile? Please let me know! Thanks
