Verizon Fios internet is slow?

I just got Verizon Fios Internet about three days ago, and it was very fast.... until today. I noticed that the internet became very unstable today, and that the download speed was about 50kbps, while the days before, the download speed was about 1.5mbps. Has anyone ever had this problem? What do you think the problem is?
