Do all women care about their men getting along with their family?

'm just wondering... are all women like this?
My girlfriend is so stubborn, she wants me to be more involved with her family, like if a relative of hers gets married she wants me to go to the wedding with her, and she wants me to go to her b-day dinner parties, and other random stuff. I've told her i'm not interested in doing those things, and the more i refuse the more she gets obsessed with this and is making a huge fight over it.
Please state your age... i guess it is different if it's a 14 year old answering to a 24 or 30 year old...
