    does the rim blackberry pearl use a simcard?

    I bought a rim blackberry pearl off of ebay and it is said it was for AT&T also but on the phone it says tmobile. can i still use my sim card for cingular in it?

    No. Every Cell phone's SIM card slot is different. I think that you should call or e-mail the person that gave you the phone on ebay and just tell them that u want your money back and that they said that it was for AT&T. Hope that helps

    You can unlock a Blackberry Pearl by using a Remote Code. Remote unlocking code removes SIM and Network code placed by the current wireless carrier and allows you to use your phone on any wireless network. You can contact T-Mobile and they will give you a code free, but only if you have had their service for a specific time. Otherwise, I believe you have to pay for the software to do it, I am unsure of the price.**If the guy indicated that the phone was "unlocked" on the auction, you should be able to hook it up to cingular/AT&T.To save yourself the headache by doing all that contact ebay/paypal, the guy falsified the product by saying it was for AT&T, you should be able to return it and get your money back.
