Still no jobs. The recession has ended, now we are in a depression.
Personally, I will wait for next years report when they tell us we went into a double dip recession in the Summer of 2010.
It's wild that people quote unemployment figures and say it's propoganda but don't know the criteria for the end of a recession. We have not recovered but it did end.
Not bloody likely. Calling the current economic contraction a recession is like calling the Bubonic Plague a slight illness. We are clearly in the worst economy since the great depression. There is not much evidence on which to base a claim that the recession is over!!
When I heard this recently, it surprised me. In a good way, because now we won't need any more stimulus packages from the government.
