No. DVDs are still region locked.

Is there a way to change the dvd region code on my PS3?
On the ps3 there are no region codes, it should be able to play all of them. However, something could have happened so you can go to the main menu on the ps3, go to the settings display, click on DVD settings, and change the region code to your desired code or simply "all"Hope that helps
