PS3? I need some help with information! PLEASE HELP!?

My brother and I have been saving up our money for a long time. we have just enough to buy a ps3 and some games, but i want to know how many USB ports a 40gb ps3 has so i can use a converter for the controllers. I also want to know if you can play ps2 games on it like guitar hero. and use the same guitar.

the 40GB PS3 does NOT play PS2 games. it is only compatible with PS1 and PS3 games.

tthe 40gb has 2 USB ports but comes with 1 sixasis controllers, as for the Ps2 games, after a few Ps3 games you will forget any older ps2 games and the good ps1 games will be released for download sooner or later

the 40gb only has 2 usb ports while the 60gb has 4. on the 40gb there might be a slight slight chance that you can play some ps2 games but it is very unlikley. you should get a 60gb ps3 they have 4 usb ports all the flash ports, and it plays all the ps2 games. i got mine on ebay. there pretty hard to find, but if you look hard enough, youll find one.

their are 4 usb ports but you can buy a usb hub to have as meny as 12 you can get a ps2 > ps3 controller converter from best buy four 14.99 and most ps2 games are playable for a list af compatible ps2 games go to www.playstation.com > support > ps3 and you can play ps2 games on ALL PS3 systems the only differance between the 40 and the 80 is the memory and the price
