Ok I was wondering...If you download limewire and then you download Illeagal child porn can't you get the IP address from the person you downloaded it from? and if so why don't the cops just do that? and who could the cops arrest? the person who downloaded it or the person that put it on there or both? I don't think the person who watches it should get arrested(GOD be with them though) But the person that is putting it on there should be! ThanksI havn't searched for it, It just pops up and I DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT! I was just wondering why they aren't stopping it!

Yes the cops do that. They usually try to catch the people who are actually doing the photography or who are selling child porn as they are the real criminals. Every so often you read about child porn rings getting busted.

Chances are, most of the files will actually be cops trying to catch people out (saying it's a file, but open it, and they get all the person's details) or something like that.The person that searches and downloads child pornography is just as bad as the person that put it there in my opinion.You must have searched for child porn on Limewire if you're asking this question..

Im probably going to get called the devil for this, but here goes. Child porn is disgusting, especially because of the fact the child usually has no choice in the matter. In addition, they are not old enough to even consent. That is why I think that filming, acting in, or distributing child porn should be a major crime.Where we are all going wrong is what we should do to the viewers. Someone should not be convicted of a crime soley because they watch a piece of media on the internet, regardless of what it is. It is legal to watch peoples heads get cut off and take pleasure out of it. Legal....to take joy in the death of someone....However, it is something that is viewed, and thus should not be prosecuted. The same goes for child porn. I know people who have been put in jail for merely stumbling across a picture. This is not right, our system is designed too give as much freedom as possibly, meaning it is better to let a few guilty people go free than a few innocent people go to prison and get a record for the rest of their life.Dont get me wrong, Child porn is atrocious. But everyone bloodlust for getting people who merely watch it is dangerous. This is how drug laws, prohibition and many other laws came about that ended up being bad. In the past people were mainly prosecuted only for having large volumes of dope, now a bud of weed is a great way give someone a ticket to pay the already underfunded judicial system. We dont need more stupid shit to prosecute people for, go for the big guys and the little ones will dissapear.
