im not 100% sure but when i downloaded music from limewire and then moved it directly into itunes and then deleted limewire it didnt let me play the songs that i downloaded (over 400 songs) and i had to re-download them all over again. it took weeks.

The music files are on your hard drive and will remain there. You should have anther player on your PC, also.
