how do i close apps now that Advaced Task Killer isn't working for android 2.2?

no, it's going to drain your battery WITH it. Uninstall that piece of crap. Task killers do much more harm than good, especially on Froyo. Reason being, the apps are going to re-launch themselves anyway, so they use more battery life when they do. Then you kill them, and then they re-start themselves again, using more battery again. It's much better to just leave them running in the background and ignore them because if you're not actively using them, they aren't using any battery.

Isn't it just going to drain my battery without it..so how am I suppose to close apps still running in the background
