We had a burglary and the genius' that did it took our satellite remote instead of our t.v. controller so I want to program the remote from my son's receiver to our tv1. My son's receiver is tv2. Our box type is ViP722kDVR-SD and the remote type is the 20.0 IR Remote so we need help and I've been looking for a couple days. Thanks I appreciate it!

Dish network remote not working for receiver!?

Call dish and if you pay $6 a month for the maint. plan, they will send you the remote you need in 3 days. Or you can buy one for $21 plus shipping.
If you don't want to do that, go to http://www.dishnetwork.com and download the remote manual.
It's simple to program and will take a few minutes but you need to refer to the instructions
