I use it with a non o2 chip? I am getting a 2nd hand iPhone of my friend. He had it on contract which is now expired. Would it work with my T-Mobile contract chip? Also how much data would I be allowed per month?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

It would not work on your T-Mobile sim, because the phone is locked to O2. I believe you can pay a small fee (about £20) to unlock the phone, enabling you to use the sim card.

The amount of data allowed would be in your original T-Mobile contract.

The second hand iPhone would definitely work with a T-mobile SIM if the iPhone is unlocked from O2's network restriction. To unlock an iPhone visit TheUnlockSpot.com and get the remote unlocking service. This method of unlocking an iPhone is safe, simple, affordable, quick and permanent. It doesn't require a jailbreak too. The charge allowed for data per month depends upon your network provider's data plan.
