If you've already eaten some and they were ok, then the rest will almost definitely still be okay 9 days past the expiration.
 
You can still eat them as long as they dont smell like rotten egg or look funny
 
If you crack 'em open and they look and smell fine, then they're good to go. The sell by date means that a store can not sell them after that date. They will still be good for a period after that date. If you're unsure and don't want to risk getting sick, just toss 'em. A new carton doesn't cost that much.
 
If they float on water, no. If they are starting to hatch, the chicks inside them won't like it.
