Can eharmony be in your browing history if you didn't use eharmony?

I was asleep, my bf was using the computer. I got up, got on, looked at my history, and it had eharmony so i clicked and under it had about 30 pages of pages on e harmony that looked like they had been visited. about 30 "questionnaires". so i put in his email and guessed the right password, and it said welcome back brad, click here to reactivate your account. I asked him, he said it was just some cookies from when he was visiting other pages, from pop ups that may look like they're in the history and that hes not on e harmony. so i that possible or is he lying?
