if I have verizon and i call my friends and they also have verizon, does that mean we get free mintues or shared mobile to mobile or whatever thats called?
and also, mintues are free automatically after 9 PM right?

Yeah its free mobile to mobile and unlimited nights and weekends. So if you only call people with verizon and only after 9 or on weekends all you'll have to pay is the service plan fee.
