...6412 Can these work in Canada? I am told by Shaw Cable that they no longer hook up other units except their own........does anyone know if this can be got around?

digital cable? hmm...

it would be true that they only hook up their own. did you check to see if you have rogers cable, or eastlink, in your area? they might be able to hook it up.

i have star choice, satellite.
so i'm sorry if i'm not much of a help.
