I just started getting back into dc comics again (I started in the late 90s with JLA and read them for about year). I recently went back to read some post crisis trades from the 80s and the dialog was along the lines of, "With the strength of Zues Destructo-Man is no match for me". I'm wondering when did the current style of more realistic (or perhaps humanistic) dialog/writing get introduced? Was there any 1 writer or series that pioneered the transition?
