What software do i need to play movies with HD DvDRiP XViD format?

i also tried to play in vlc-latest version,and even installed xvid codec to play in windows media player.but still no use...if you donno, name a software to convert this type of video into normal format.

Download & install K-Lite Codec Pack (Full). It's a very useful freeware and supports a wide variety of media file formats. During installation, apply codecs for Media Player Classic (and not Windows Media Player). Here is the link for you:
