hi I was interested in buying this monitor to play my xbox on:

but i noticed it only has a 1000:1 contrast ratio where as if you look at this monitor:

has DC 50000:1 (1000:1) (Typ).
so are they the same thing and will the hp one be just as good as the samsung one?
