Desert Punk is great. Also if u want a good laugh watch Princess Tutu. it sucks but its funny

Claymore, witchblade, spice and wolf, FMA, not brotherhood brotherhood is a remake and the first one is better, burst Angle,Soul Eater, and Trinity Blood

Brotherhood IS better and it's also canon to the story line, unlike FMA....which had random made up things thrown in there.

Gurren Lagan (excellent not the best story but very emotional)
Claymore( Really good its really dark and if your not satisfied with the ending read the manga)
Casshern's Sin (its alright but the ending is kinda rushed)
Mushi-shi (really good but might be to slow for some people)
FLCL (its a weird story about puberty with alot of symbolism)
Heroic Age( above average sci-fi cliche mecha war and concept)
X'amd (pretty cool characters)
Honey and Clover (personal favorite)
and
Eden of the East (the story was really good although i think the main protagonist is to perfect but Saki is pretty cool)

Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood is better then the original anime and its not a remake retard its about the actual manga and that's how it should have been in the first place not saying the original anime was bad

ok ill list my favorites from no.1 and down
Angel Beats: Action and sad at parts but one the best iv seen.
Claymore: Bloody but awsome
Sekirei: good story line and lots of action a little romance
Girls bravo: VERY FUNNY
Rin daughters of mynosyne: ACTION, ACTION and more ACTION.
Strike Witchs: Action and some comedy.
High school of the dead: Zombie killing action.
Elfen lied: SAD but actiony

Full Metal Panic (Really good Mech action)
High School of the Dead (Zombie Action with crude humor)
Angel Beats (really good but it seems like it ends short)
Pumpkin Scissors (Really good action based in WWI era)
Baka and Test (Nice action with high school feel)
The Ugly Yet Beautiful World (Kind of a romantic action)
Spice and Wolf (Mostly drama but there is some action. Only thing is, only season 1 is on netflix, had to watch season 2 on Hulu)
AH! My Goddess (Has action in it but it seems more like a romantic comedy)
Burst Angel (Another good mech/gun action)
Gun X Sword (Awesome mech anime)
Sekirei (always good to watch girls fight)
Samurai Champloo (lots of sword play, can get really slow and boring at some points)
