I am asking this question because I need some advice or tips on how to create and develop a real character for fiction, not a character that relies on cliches to make his/her way into a story. I don't intend on stealing your method, I don't need to know how you do it. I would just like some insight on how this step in writing a story is done. I really would appreciate any help you can give on this subject!
