...and gay marriages. Italy? Italy is left behind together with Greece about this matter. I always considered these two countries to belong to western Europe, but now I am more skeptic about that because it seems like their way of thinking is not particularly matching the rest of Western Europe. These two countries have yet to decide whether they want to give civil rights to gays and lesbians. Eventually they will have to make a decision since gays are lobbying their respective parliaments really hard to obtain rights.

What do you think the outcome in these two countries will be? Will they join Eastern Europe, or will they join Western Europe?
