further investigate the ...? ..... arguments for the existence of God?

Does the Philosophy of Religion possess any other "tool" besides (the often cockamamie mix of) logic and faith (each quite successful on its own) in order to search for an answer to the question of God’s existence?

PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT passing judgment on anyone's personal (faith-based or lack thereof) beliefs, I'm simply asking about the nature, the boundaries, and the reliability of the knowledge that can be obtained through Philosophy of Religion.

Your thoughtful answer are greatly appreciated.
