...affect the performance? I know on certain vehicles if some fluids are not filled the brain of the vehicle will not allow you to drive it by cutting back on gas. Like the Tundra, if the brake fluid is not filled, it somehow stops the fuel on acceleration but idles ok. Mine has not been reset for sometime and I'm having problems with my brakes, the car seems to have a mind of its own by applying the brakes. It does not offer any trouble code and the calipers have been replaced. I could easily reset the "perform service" but the car is not braking by its self right now only intermittently and if I do reset it I won't know if this solved it.
