How do i call another att cell phone internationally?

My bf is touring in europe, he has an american phone and number with an international plan, and a device that supports european mobile networks. Unfortunately we cant call each other, but we can text. I called customer support... they were not helpful.

any suggestions?

To call a US number she'll have to dial +1-XXX-YYY-ZZZZ. Note the plus and the country code before the 10-digit number. The cost will be $.99/min if the international rate package you subscribed to is “AT&T World Traveler”, $1.29/min otherwise. Texting will only cost more for outgoing ($.50), incoming messages are billed the same as domestically.


NOTE: The x y and z represent numbers

Gotta go to your service provider & set up a International calling plan, and then get the international country codes for Europe.
