How much kata is in Kenpo (or Kempo) compared with Shotokan?

Every Kempo or Kenpo style I know of does Kata. Each is different so I can't say how many they do. Some Kenpo/Kempo styles do Kata that looks much like Kung-Fu forms. It has a Chinese origin. Other styles have Kata that looks more like the Japanese or Okinawan karate forms.

You can't predict how long anyone cane be effective at any art. It takes as long as it takes. Just like in school, some people learn faster than others. Unfortunately, learning the martial means learning and perfecting it.
