What is the best way to connect an LCD TV, an HD cable box, a BlueRay DVD,...

...a SS receiver and a Wii? I would like to be able to operate these components with one remote control. Is that possible? The surround sound receiver accepts HDMI. Thank you very much.

Run all devices to the tv inputs with hdmi cables if possible. The s/s needs to have a a/v cable connected from the tv audio output to the s/s audio input to have s/s on everything.

If your receiver supports audio via HDMI connection, you should connect HDMI from HD cable box and Blu-ray player to receiver for both audio & video ( use optical cable for audio if HD cable box doesn't support audio via HDMI ) then another HDMI from receiver to TV for video. Connect video cable from Wii to TV for video and red & white cable from Wii to receiver for audio.
