i have a pet bird and I am looking for a cleaner that I can make out of normal ingredients. I am hoping that it will disinfect while cleaning and that it won't harm my bird. Any suggestions?
Especially with pets you have to be careful. Best to ask at a pet store or at a vets, to see if they have something they recommend.
As for using homemade cleaners, I find white vinegar is usually a safe product to use. If you need something to really give a good scrubbing to baking soda with a little water will make a paste which is a little abrasive, and then use warm water to wipe down after ward. But again check to make sure with someone that your bird will be able to tolerate this.
