How to block Aim text messages on cingular phones?

How can I block text messages from AIM or AOL. I am with cingular.

I am not logged onto Aim on my cell phone. You can text anyone on AIM if you IM the individual with +(the number).

Don't log in to AIM on your cell phone. It's that simple.

Rick, you dont have to log in to aim. Aim sends the message in a 'text message' form. i have like 60+ cells on my aim list haha.

I just found a simple way!

    Text 265019 saying 'out'

then you will get a message back saying
"AIM: you have opted out of receiving messages from AOL IM that are adressed to your phone number."

    hope I helped :]
