I play froggy jump too, it's quite nice..
As far as i know there are no "cheats" for Froggy Jump.
You get some gems on platforms, while you are playing. You can also buy them from the iTunes store ($0.99 for 45 gems etc.)
About the backgrounds- you mean the themes right? There's an Underwater theme (with the orange frog) and an Infernal theme (with the skeletal frog). Underwater is unlocked by reaching a score of 32,000 and Infernal by reaching a score of 50,000.
