Other ways of downloading apps on a blackberry?

I don't have internet right now on my blackberry 8520, but can i download apps by connecting my blackberry to my computer by USB?
if so, how does it work?

You can download them all you want but they won't work without data.

Download the blackberry dektop software. it will aloow you to move them apps to your phone. http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/
