Apple or Sony Vaio?

I'm recently looking in buying a laptop. I'll be carry it around with me to travel, so light weighted would be ideal. I'll use it for video playing, download/upload photos from digital camera, net surfing, chatting, downloading, word processing and some grahic designing. also I'm looking at the dualbility and layablility(I don't want any thing like built in web cam doesn't work, key block came off, or virus attack that I have to re-format the computer during my travel and ect.)which one to go for? Sony or Apple? or non of those? which to recommand??

I'd go Toshiba or Dell.

Go for the apple laptop. We use them in our school and they are real fast and really good to carry around!
