Im trying to find information on a bayonette i purchased at a fleamarket.?

weyersberg,kirschbaum&co solingen are the only words stamped on the blade. the handle,blade,grip and sheath have different markings and there is a serial no. . I can give those if any one can help. the blade is 12-16in.andthe handle has a brass grip. the blade and sheath are silver as is the guard.this is larger than i have seen and it seems to be very old.It seems like a cross between a sword and bayonette.

Solingen is a famous German knife maker.Man, it sounds interesting! Is there any way I can see a pic?
