I think Blacksn0w is a software.But i haven't used this to unlock i-phone 3g .I have used Remote unlock service to unlock i-phone 3g.I have installed latest version of i-tunes to unlock it.Get the remote unlock service from the site Wickedunlock.com and unlock it easily.
