electrics always better until we get the oil in iraq

Electric is the more economical choice. The main problem with natural gas is that the price fluctuates (usually on the expensive side) and causes elderly people who live on fixed incomes to sit in their houses curled in little balls afraid to turn on the heat because they won't be able to afford their medication. (unfortunately this causes many elderly people to die)

I used to work for PETRO the largest home heating oil company on the Eastern seaboard of USA....but I don't anymore, so my personal opinion is that electric is cheaper. The cost of home heating oil has gone up by about 2.5 times the price it was a year and a half ago! That's crazy!
