    i have a contract with orange, and have the blackberry bold 9700, my...

    ...phone broke and is badly damaged? i was wondering if i contacted orange if they would sell me a handset maybe at discounted price as i've only had phone for few months but have not bought the insurance. If not can anyone suggest how i can buy a blackberry fairly cheap

    I don't think Orange network sells you phone at discounted price. You have to buy only contract phones. Since you have no insurance, You have to make a new contract only. It would be costly anyway. If you want to buy cheap phone, you can get any refurbished phone from online. Network locked phone would be cheaper in cost when compare with unlocked phone. So, you can buy a network locked Blackberry phone and unlock it yourself at low cost. You can unlock a Blackberry phone safer and easier using unlock code.
